2018
Congratulations to the Year 7 Debating Team for an admirable
first season. The team, comprising of Liana Ang, Lily George, Aarya Sharma and
Hayley Shea, represented Mount Gravatt State School in a most commendable
fashion.
Ms McKenzie, who coached the team, said "Their ability to craft and present arguments in a highly persuasive
and engaging manner, saw them achieve high scores and praise from the
adjudicators during each of their rounds. Strong teamwork was another key
component that contributed to the success of this team, which culminated in
them winning their short preparation debate on Thursday 6 September. Thank you
for your efforts in representing our school this year".
