We
welcome all students to participate in Mount Gravatt High School’s Drama
Club. The objective of this program is to provide students with the
opportunity to engage in creative activities outside of the mainstream
curriculum and develop confidence and performance skills.
This year students will
participate in improvisation, theatresports and process drama based activities,
while honing voice, movement and ensemble skills. Students may also elect to be
involved in a stage production, presented by Drama Club in second semester.
Participation in the Drama Club is open to all students. However, participation
in the production is strictly by audition.
This
is a highly practical arts experience. There are two streams of Drama Club (Junior and
Senior) to be held on a weekly basis after school in H Block:
Junior Drama
Club: Wednesday,
2:50pm - 4.00pm
Senior Drama
Club: Tuesday,
2:50pm – 4.00pm
