Mount
Gravatt High needs-based bursaries are available to assist students
whose families are experiencing financial hardship.
Our bursary program is made
possible by the patronage of the Rotary Club of Mt Gravatt and in honour of the late Ray
Best, a long serving member and past President of the Rotary Club, who was awarded
a Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary International for his tireless work. Ray was the inaugural
Director of the Mt Gravatt TAFE from 1978 until his retirement in 1998. Ray is remembered
for being instrumental in establishing and maintaining a community based work
skills program to encourage students to be well prepared for their future
working life.
The bursary assists students who exhibit strengths in our Four Pillars, Academic, Sport, Cultural and Community and possess qualities compatible with the values of Mount Gravatt High School reach their potential by;
Contributing in whole or in part to the cost of the annual Student Resource Scheme.
