Enrolments for Year 7 2027 will open on Wednesday 4 March. Our online enrolment EOI application form will be available below from Friday 26 February. You will be able to submit the application from the Friday, but it will not be processed until after Wednesday 4 March.
If your student will be going into Year 7 in a later year (2028 and later), please note that we open our Year 7 enrolments when students are in Year 6.

In-Catchment Applications
If you reside In-Catchment you will also need to upload the required
proof of residence:
- Copy of a current rates notice OR current lease
- Copy of a current utility bill
Out-of-Catchment Applications
There is an enrolment processing fee associated with out-of-catchment applications. The amount of this fee will be confirmed at the beginning of 2026. Please check back in February 2026 for updated information. Information on how to make this payment can be found HERE. You will need to upload a copy of the payment receipt as part of the EOI application. Please note that this payment is non-refundable.

EDGE Programs
Opening and closing dates for EDGE Program applications will be updated in February 2026.
If your student would like to apply for a place in the EDGE program/s, please ensure that you complete and return this EDGE Application Form. The EDGE application can be submitted as part of your Year 7 2027 enrolment application. If you have already submitted an enrolment application, please submit the EDGE application via email to: edge@mtgravattshs.eq.edu.au.
Students may nominate for all programs, however, will only be able to participate in one program. If successful, the program they are selected in will become their Year 7 class in 2027.
Instrumental Music Excellence
Opening and closing dates for IM Excellence applications will be updated in February 2026.
Mount Gravatt High School offers a signature Instrumental Music program for Year 7 2027 students: Instrumental Music Excellence. This excellence program provides extensive opportunities for musically high-performing students to further develop and refine performance skills on their chosen instrument. This program is suitable for all instruments (brass, woodwind, percussion, strings), except for Piano.
If your student would like to apply for a place in our Instrumental Music Excellence program, please ensure that you complete and return this Instrument Music Excellence Application Form. This application can also be submitted as part of your Year 7 2027 enrolment application.
