Enrolments for Year 7 2026 are now Open. Please follow the steps below to submit your Enrolment EOI. If your student will be going into Year 7 in a later year (2027 and above), please note that we open our Year 7 enrolments when students are in Year 6.

In-Catchment Applications
If you reside In-Catchment you will also need to upload the required
proof of residence:
- Copy of a current rates notice OR current lease
- Copy of a current utility bill
Out-of-Catchment Applications
There is a $100 enrolment processing fee associated with out-of-catchment applications. Information on how to make this payment can be found HERE. You will need to upload a copy of the payment receipt as part of the EOI application. Please note that this payment is non-refundable.
Key Dates
Round 1 - To be considered in our Round 1 enrolment offers, applications are due by Friday 20 June. Outcomes will be advised on Friday 27 June.
Round 2 - To be considered in our Round 2 enrolment offers, applications are due by Friday 29 August. Outcomes will be advised on Monday 8 September.
Any out-of-catchment applications received after Friday 29 August will be placed on our waiting list, and will be considered for a place subject to available capacity.
EDGE Programs
Applications for our EDGE programs are now closed. Any applications submitted after 30 May 2025 will be placed on a waiting list, and will be considered subject to availability.
If your student would like to apply for a place in the EDGE program/s, please ensure that you complete and return this EDGE Application Form. The EDGE application can be submitted as part of your Year 7 2026 enrolment application. If you have already submitted an enrolment application, please submit the EDGE application via email to: edge@mtgravattshs.eq.edu.au
Students may nominate for all programs, however, will only be able to participate in one program. If successful, the program they are selected in will become their Year 7 class in 2026.
Instrumental Music Excellence
Applications for our Instrumental Music Excellence program are now closed. Any applications submitted after 16 May 2025 will be placed on a waiting list, and will be considered subject to availability.
Mount Gravatt High School offers a signature Instrumental Music program for Year 7 2026 students: Instrumental Music Excellence. This excellence program provides extensive opportunities for musically high-performing students to further develop and refine performance skills on their chosen instrument.
If your student would like to apply for a place in our Instrumental Music Excellence program, please ensure that you complete and return this Instrument Music Excellence Application Form. This application can also be submitted as part of your Year 7 2026 enrolment application.
