The Mount Gravatt High School Dance Program fosters excellence in dance. Mount Gravatt High offers classroom Dance in Years 7 to 12. The Program is further augmented by and Elite Dance Troupe and a Junior Troupe where students can develop their skills, technique and performance ability.
The aim of the Dance Excellence Program is to foster the specific talents and aspirations of each individual student, allowing all students, at an early age, the opportunity to develop their talent to its fullest potential. Mount Gravatt has a long history of success in the performing arts with many past students following professions in their specific art form.

Rehearsals held weekly – Audition early Term 1.
- Mondays 2:50-5:00pm (L Block) – Both troupes
- Monday, Thursday and Friday 12:45-1:25pm (L Block and Studio) – These rehearsals occur throughout Terms 1 and 2 as part of our eisteddfod preparation
At eisteddfods we will compete in the genre sections of Contemporary and Jazz.
