The Visual Art EDGE Program offered at Mount Gravatt High is a selective entry program open to students entering Year 7. Visual Art Academic EDGE is one of the Junior Secondary signature programs and operates over three years.
The program engages students in challenging and supportive environment that is based on the Australia Curriculum with the scope for extension and extra-curricular activities in an inquiry rich environment. Each year of the Visual Art EDGE program has a different structure.

Entry into Year 8 Visual Art EDGE and Year 9 Visual Art EDGE is by invitation only, and is based on students' achievements for the previous year or semester in that subject.
